Joe from Charm City Electric was wonderful. He was able to fix our problem in less than five minutes. We received a one hour time block and he arrived right within it. It was great to not have to wait around all day! We will definitely use Charm City for all our electrical needs!

I was having electrical issues in my house causing some lights to be dim and some appliances to not work. I contacted Charm City late in the evening and they were able to get me scheduled for an appointment at noon the next day. When the electrician got here he was very knowledgeable about the situation and pretty much knew what the issue might have been. He came in, diagnosed the issue which ended up being on BGEs side of things, and helped get in contact with who I needed to talk to at BGE to get me the help I need. The electrician was very professional and I would definitely use Charm City Electric for any future issues I run into.

I usually dont take the time to leave reviews but after my experience today with charm city, I had to. Phil came by today and did a fantastic job troubleshooting and fixing my problem. Ive got an older house with some weird wiring and after a little trial and error, Phil got everything working again.

We had our 100 year old house (with knob & tube wiring) completely re-wired by Charm City Electric in 2020. Their cost was way under all the other quotes we received (by as much as 50%). Their work was quite good, and it carries a full warranty for follow-up issues. Joe, the owner, personally comes to the house to work any troubleshooting of issues we have (and on short notice), and his attention to getting the fix done quickly is much appreciated. I like that the company is small with not heavy overhead like other electrical contractors (so the customer pays less for job well done). Check out Charm City Electrical first and save your $$$.

Charm City Electric really went above and beyond and did a wonderful job rewiring and swapping out all the old light switches, labeling the fuse box and getting everything updated to code. They were communicative, friendly, fast and reasonably priced which made a potentially stressful situation manageable. We just moved to Baltimore and have been having lots of issues with the house we just bought. It's an older house and nothing so far has been up to code. The fuse box wasn't even labelled. I called Charm City and they came out quick to assess the situation and scheduled the work promptly. I was very impressed how they took the time to walk me through options of how to rewire to certain outlets. The light switches looked as old as the house and it took cutting into the walls to do this correctly but they wanted to do as little as damage as possible. They could have very easily gone the quicker route and cut out more of the wall but they got creative and figured out less evasive fixes. They also could have said they had to charge me more for adding more time to the job but they didn't. There were no surprises with the final bill. They spent two days here fixing everything and came back for a third day to be here when the inspector came to make sure everything was to code. They took great care of the house and they obviously love their jobs and take pride in their work. As someone new to the city I really appreciate everything they did. I will definitely be calling Charm City again and recommending them to everyone!

We have used Charm City for multiple projects in our rental property in Dundalk. They are always quick to respond, fair and reasonably priced and work with us on options for our projects. They have the absolute best customer service and are our go to for anything electrical.

I called Charm City Electric to fix my problem and scheduled for them to come out. They arrived on time and worked efficiently to address my problem! They are the best with very fair pricing!! So pleased with the work Charm City Electric did in our home. We had outlets and light switches installed and pendant lights exchanged. Scheduling was convenient and timely. Quote and communication was efficient. Questions were answered promptly. I was kept updated on appointment time. Kyle was top notch - professional, efficient, patient and knowledgeable. His attention to detail on light symmetry was appreciated! Place was spotless after the work was done. Would definitely use services again - highly recommend.

I live in a house built in the 1950s. Since the latter part of October, 2024 I’ve been living in this partially lit house that had become a nightmare After several electricians’ failure to find the root of the problem, they decided to ghost me. I began to feel that the house may never be fully lit again. I discovered Charm City during my desperate search for help on the web. CHARM is the perfect name that depicts the characteristics of both Joe and Phil. Their mannerisms are very pleasant, polite and friendly. Both very knowledgeable in their skills and they complemented one another. Because of past experiences, I was very skeptical about hiring them but I’m so glad I did. This was the smoothest encounter I’ve ever had with a contractor. Communication skills excellent; Punctuality-excellent; Pricing-excellent; Skill level-excellent. I am a very particular person and by my book these guys scored 10 stars. I especially recommend this company for those who need help with older homes. I am forever grateful!
